Welcome to the site ...  it is a heterogeneous mix of things that make up life ...

The site exists for a couple of reasons ... having my own site is a great way to create a "master" site the includes all of the components that I use the most on other sites. This allows me to "package" and upload a common base site very quickly when creating a new website. This also allows me to test component upgrades before uploading them to production sites.

I have friends who live hundreds of miles away who need help with their computers sometimes. Having a website is a great way to facilitate that.
